Manchester City defeated last year’s title winners Porto in the first match 2-1 and have made excellent job before the 2nd leg in Manchester. After 23 games without defeat, this is the Portuguese first defeat on the home ground.

Porto took the lead in the 27th minute over Varela, but the second half the hosts were unrecognizable. Citizens have exploit defensive line errors and Agüero scores for the final result. Porto now has to score 2 goals if they want to go to the next stage.

We may, therefore, expect an open and attractive game with many goal attempts.

Manchester City have no fresh injuries, with Roberto Mancini able to choose his line-up from a full squad of players.

For Porto defender Danilo (suffered knee ligament damage), Emidio Rafael and  Marc Janko will be out for this match.
